Generations at Peoria, a post-acute care and rehabilitation community, presented a check to Greater Peoria Honor Flight to send a Veteran on the flight in 2020.
The staff at Generations at Peoria raised $500 by hosting a Nacho Bar and Bake Sale twice in November. They plan on hosting more fundraisers for Greater Peoria Honor Flight in the future.
“We are proud of our Veterans and honored that we are able to help send them on the Honor Flights,” said Jennifer Haag, Regional Director of Business for Generations Healthcare Network.
Greater Peoria Honor Flight recognizes American Veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by having them fly to Washington D.C. at no cost to see their Memorial.
