VP Physical Plant
Jason White’s main role is ensuring patient and building safety in client facilities on an operational and engineering basis. He specializes in life safety codes which are the most widely used source for strategies to protect people based on building construction and occupancy features that minimize the effects of hazards. It can include fire protection, sprinkler systems, alarms, emergency lighting, smoke barriers, and special hazard protection. In coordination with other teammates, he develops safety guidelines and procedures for physical plant as well as employee safety. He is a resource for all Federal and State regulations governing physical plant, life safety code and OSHA.
Jason has been with Generations Healthcare Network for over five years and in the healthcare industry for 12 years.
His healthcare journey started at the facility level. After gaining experience and knowledge in the day-to-day operations of physical plant, he was ready to progress to a management position. He accepted a position as a Physical Plant Director in a client facility and his performance did not go unnoticed. He was invited to be a member of the Generations consultant team, overseeing and managing a team of maintenance workers. In 2019, he was promoted to his current VP position.
“I love the team work and the family feeling here at the company and I love the interaction with each other,” Jason commented. “We all put our heads together for the best solution for our facilities and residents. Resident safety and how we can improve their lives is the number one factor.”
In his spare time, he is an avid golfer, a big sports fan and loves spending time with his family.
