Generations at Neighbors recently celebrated the expansion and renovation of its facility in Byron, IL with a grand reopening ceremony. Guests, healthcare professionals and friends were invited to tour the newly renovated and expanded facility that now offers a fresh new look with bright and airy living spaces.
The tour showcased the many new amenities Generations at Neighbors offers its residents. The new private and semi-private suites offer residents private refrigerator and microwave, sitting area, flat screen TVs, new electric beds, completely new bathrooms and fixtures, non-slip surfaces, and call lights in the bathroom and at bedside. These suites offer residents comfortable, updated and homelike bedrooms as they recover.
The state-of-the-art therapy gym is open 7 days a week and supervised by occupational and physical therapists providing therapy that is individualized and intensive designed to restore strength, enhance balance skills, promote independence in activities of daily living and improve physical and cognitive functions. Generations at Neighbors renovations and expansion also includes a new lobby and reception area, internet café, Country Store filled with sweets and treats reminiscent of days gone by, upgraded beauty salon and remodeled dining room that offers high quality buffet style meals.
