Every year, we take time to recognize the incredible hard work and dedication of staff across our network. Each facility selects an Employee of the Year—a team member who has gone above and beyond in caring for our residents and consumers.
To honor these outstanding employees, all 11 Employees of the Year and their administrators gather at our home office for a special holiday luncheon. The afternoon is filled with delicious food, fun games, and an uplifting award ceremony where we celebrate their achievements.
At the event, we also take the opportunity to announce the winners of the prestigious Burton Behr Employee of the Year Awards. These awards recognize the top three employees, the best of the best, who are chosen by our home office staff after reading heartfelt biographies written by their administrators.
This year’s recipients are:
🏆 Winner: Rebecca Nordrum from Generations at Rock Island – $2,000 prize
🥈 Runner-Up: Marissa Signor – $1,500 prize
🥉 Second Runner-Up: Phyllis Ruffin – $1,000 prize
The luncheon was a wonderful afternoon celebrating the hard work, dedication, and care these individuals bring to our organization every single day. We are so grateful for their efforts and commitment to excellence!
